The lingerie brand, Ultimo, is one of my oldest clients, and this month we celebrated the opening of new concession stores in House of Fraser. ‘Shop in shops’ have always existed for the brand, but this is their first foray into House of Fraser with a fully fledged ‘mat’. Ultimo launched with their new face and body at the beginning of the year, Petra Nemcova (see article from Grazia) who took over from Abbey Clancey. They originally opened in Manchester and then the Oxford Street flagship store in London in September to much excitement, having first brokered the deal in April.
We were involved in creating the launch graphics, POS, and the original in store look concept, which was used as inspiration for the eventual ‘shop’ interior.
Each and every concession needs POS every month, packaging design, label design and promotional graphics. Working with a brand, the message needs to be consistently and continually communicated and so we work with this particular brand from their Glasgow base on a weekly basis. We were also delighted to have designed our first window display earlier this year for Valentine’s week at House of Fraser Manchester; producing 3 concepts of which one was chosen and implemented.
